QUICKLY INSTALL LUXURY VINYL TILES ONTO CRITICAL, DAMP AND CONTAMINATED SUBSTRATES.

With UZIN RR 185 and UZIN KE 68.

Substrates with high residual moisture or contamination from oil and grease usually require extensive and expensive subfloor preparation. This work can be avoided by using the UZIN RR 185 underlay. Combined with UZIN KE 68 a 1-component heavy duty adhesive, a unique system is created for the perfect installation of luxury vinyl tiles. The new LVT can be installed quickly and easily, without causing dust, dirt or noise.

This makes it possible to install the new LVT floor over substrates in need of renovation. The system also allows for a low build-up height. In the event of future renovating the entire system, including the floor covering, can be removed without leaving any residues.

Step by step guide:

Remove any dust and dirt from the substrate using a powerful industrial vacuum cleaner. Any unevenness from the substrate may show through the new floor covering.
Roll out UZIN RR 185 underlay and cut. Leave a gap of at least 3 to 10 mm, depending on the floor covering and load against all vertical structures. The side of the seams between the sheets do not need to be cut.
Lay a paper strip under the joints of the underlay so as to avoid adhesive contamination getting onto the subfloor or bonding the edges of the underlay.
Leave a gap of at least 3 mm against any fixtures, including other floor coverings.
The LVT can then be installed immediately. Mark out the starting line. Spread UZIN KE 68 with a A5 notched trowel up to the line.
Arrange the joints of the LVT off-set to the joints of the underlay. Within the short open time, lay the LVT along the positioning line and rub down by hand.
Then thoroughly roll over the area with the WOLFF pressure roller. The entire flooring system can be removed without leaving any residues, even after many years of use.
