What do you most like about the flooring industry?

The people, our industry has some real characters. Being involved with big projects is very interesting to me and every day is a school day, there’s always something new to learn.

If money was no object, what car would you buy?

A Lamborghini Gallardo, I was lucky enough to drive one at a track day and loved it.

What hobbies do you have?

 I love to produce music and have been building a home studio for many years.

Do you have any pets?

Yes a crazy dog called Rufus.

Which one record would you take onto a desert island?

There’s too many just to choose one.

Where is the best place you’ve ever been to?

An island off the coast of Egypt called Mahamaya (Paradise Island).

What book would you recommend?

To people in our industry BS 8203.

What major event in the world would you like to attend?

I’ve still not been to Glastonbury so would like to tick that off the list.

What did you want to be when you were younger?

Older, now I want to be younger.

How did you get in to the floor industry?

After working on site in the Construction Industry the project I was working on completed, I was waiting for the next project to start so worked for a local flooring retailer with the intension of being temporary for 2 weeks. 17 years later I’m still in the trade and still learning every day.
