UZIN PE 360 PLUS Ready Mixed Primer

UZIN PE 360 PLUS is a quick-drying, ready-mixed floor primer that is ideal for use on absorbent concrete and screeds. This primer helps control absorbency and enhances adhesion between the subfloor and the smoothing underlayment. Since it is ready-mixed, there is no need for on-site dilution, which reduces preparation time and allows installers to prime the floor quickly. Typically, UZIN PE 360 PLUS dries in about 30 minutes, depending on the absorbency and porosity of the subfloor.

A compatible primer can be applied in a subfloor preparation system over properly installed and commissioned underfloor heating. UZIN PE 360 PLUS primer may be used on a screed that contains underfloor heating, as long as the guidelines provided by the heating manufacturer and the product data sheet are followed.

Highly absorbent concrete and screed subfloors can draw water too quickly from a smoothing compound. This may reduce flow and working time, make the compound harder to spread and increase the risk of surface defects such as pinholes.

Applying UZIN PE 360 PLUS helps reduce and regulate the substrate’s absorbency, creating more consistent conditions for the smoothing compound to cure. It also binds residual surface dust and helps improve the bond between the subfloor and smoothing underlayment. This supports a smoother finish, more even drying and a reliable base for the final floor covering.

Floor primers should only be applied within the temperature range stated in the product data sheet. For UZIN PE 360 PLUS, the minimum temperature at floor level is 10°C during application and drying.

Cold site conditions can slow drying and delay the next stage of installation. Avoid applying primer to very cold surfaces, in freezing conditions, or where condensation may form. Maintain stable temperature and ventilation until the primer is fully dry.
