The National Gallery in London has recently opened the Roden Centre for Creative Learning, an innovative educational facility designed to inspire and engage visitors through immersive and creative learning experiences. They selected a comprehensive UZIN flooring system to prepare the substrate for the wood installation. The process began with applying UZIN PE 404 Moisture Suppressant, a crucial step that prevents moisture intrusion, thereby protecting the new floor's integrity. Following this, LKL Floor Screeds applied UZIN PE 280 Primer to enhance adhesion and provide a solid foundation for the UZIN smoothing compound. LKL Floor Screeds installed UZIN NC 196 Fibre-Reinforced Smoothing Compound to achieve a smooth and even finish, creating an ideal base for the wood flooring. Premier Contract Flooring also helped prepare the subfloor in the new entrance area.
This thorough preparation resulted in a perfect surface for the wood flooring installed by AB Flooring.
