UZIN introduces UZIN Fibre Finish for fast repairs and improved crack resistance

UZIN NC 888 F is a new fibre-reinforced feather coat that combines rapid drying with added flexibility and durability.

UZIN has introduced UZIN NC 888 F Fibre Finish, a versatile, fibre-reinforced feather coat for rapid floor repairs, filling small holes and skim-coating. Replacing UZIN NC 888 S, the new product helps flooring professionals create a smooth, durable surface ready for floor covering installation.

Its fine microfibres improve stability and flexibility, helping reduce the risk of cracking on suitable substrates that may experience slight movement, such as flooring-grade plywood. Despite its fibre reinforcement, the material can be trowelled from a true feather edge up to 4 mm in a single coat and produces a smooth, fine finish, with added repair protection. It is ready for foot traffic after approximately 10 minutes and allows most floor coverings to be installed in as little as 15 minutes.

Suitable applications include repairing trowel marks and imperfections in smoothing compounds, filling small holes in screeds, skim-coating and filling joints up to 4 mm. UZIN NC 888 F can be used without a primer on many suitable substrates, including cement, concrete, flooring-grade plywood, ceramic tiles, terrazzo and old non-water-soluble adhesive residues.

Available in 11 kg bags, with approximate coverage of 10 m² at 1 mm thickness, UZIN NC 888 F Fibre Finish brings together speed, flexibility and fibre-reinforced performance for everyday floor preparation and repair.
