CFA Apprentice of the Year 2024

UZIN UTZ is proud to sponsor the 2024 Contract Flooring Association (CFA) Apprentice of the Year Award in its commitment to developing the next generation of flooring professionals. This partnership underscores UZIN UTZ's dedication to supporting emerging apprentices in the flooring industry and ensuring the future of skilled fitters.

The CFA Apprentice of the Year competition is a prestigious award that celebrates the achievements of the industry's most promising apprentice. This year, Kyle Maxwell of MacGregor Flooring Company Ltd, based in Hamilton, Scotland, deservedly claimed the title. The judging panel, consisting of CFA Council Members Alan Gayle (AG Flooring Ltd), Matthew Brown (Uzin Utz UK), and David Brady (RJM Flooring Ltd), unanimously praised Kyle's entry, which showed outstanding skill and knowledge. Kyle highlighted his ability across four diverse projects. These included a complex commercial flooring project, a subfloor preparation task, a challenging commercial staircase installation, and a beautiful domestic LVT herringbone installation. Each project reflected his versatility and skill in handling various flooring types and scenarios.
