Supporting the NHS
Since the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, Uzin Utz UK has sponsored various activities and helped fundraise for the University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire (UHCW) Charity. The money raised has funded life-saving equipment and Superhero Care Boxes for NHS staff. This year the NHS is commemorating its 75th anniversary, and to celebrate, ‘NHS Big Tea’ Events are being held across the UK. Uzin Utz UK hosted a ‘Big Tea’ event on 5th July to help fundraise, with staff baking cakes for the office to share.
Due to the continued support provided by Uzin Utz UK, Daniel Leeson, Marketing Manager, was invited to the ‘NHS Big Tea’ event held at University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire in Coventry on 4th July. UHCW held the event to thank NHS staff, volunteers and sponsors for their contributions and support. It also provided the opportunity to visit the UHCW nature reserve. This peaceful oasis provides a calm and relaxing escape for patients and visitors. Daniel Leeson said, “It is a privilege to be invited to this event to help support and champion the work of the NHS. We are extremely grateful for the dedication and the fantastic work the staff at UHCW are doing for our local community. It was also great to visit the nature reserve, and we plan to volunteer our help in its upkeep later in the year”.
